How to read a Certificate of Analysis
Locate your lot number, open the original laboratory report, and read the fields shown for a specific batch.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is an original laboratory report for a specific sample and batch. It is not a marketing summary. Results apply only to the tested sample identified in that report.
Locate the lot number
- —Find the lot or batch identifier on your vial label or packaging.
- —On psllabs.org, open the product page for your material or go to COA / Batch Lookup (
/coa). - —Match your label identifier to a published report. If no report is listed for your lot, contact support@psllabs.org with your lot number.
Open the original report
Published PSL reports are linked from:
- —The product page under Testing & Quality
- —COA / Batch Lookup (
/coa) - —The Testing section when a report is available
Open the linked image or PDF—the original laboratory report, not a retyped summary. For Janoshik reports, use the verification link on the report or the Verify with Janoshik button when shown.
Read the fields on the report
Review only the fields that appear on your report. A published Retatrutide report may include, for example:
- —Laboratory — name of the testing laboratory
- —Batch — batch name (e.g. Black Top)
- —Task number — laboratory reference (e.g. 199788)
- —Identity result — compound identified for the tested sample
- —Nominal strength — labeled vial strength (e.g. 10mg)
- —Laboratory-reported amount — amount reported for the tested sample (may differ from nominal strength)
- —Laboratory-reported purity — purity reported for the tested sample
- —Analysis date — date shown on the report
Do not assume a field is present unless it appears on the original report you are reviewing.
Scope of results
Laboratory results apply only to the tested sample and batch named in that report. They do not apply to other lots, future batches, or materials you have not received.
Testing scope and results are shown on each original laboratory report. PSL does not add tests or results beyond what the laboratory documented on that report.
